I have old coworkers that went through Chamberlain to get their BSN's. I think they offer Masters degrees too, but don't believe they offer NP diplomas IIRC.Always interesting to hear an individual's progression.
My wife spent 15 years as VP of Communications and Public Affairs for AAPA; her sister-in-law is an NP/PhD recruiter and administrator for Chamberl;ain University Nursing, so I've heard a lot of stories about both vocations. So much depends on the state you live in...
It's insane to look at the differences of what my scope of practice is from state to state. New Jersey is middle of the road in that regard, but neighboring states like CT and MA essentially allow NP's to act completely on their own without any MD or DO oversight. I've asked my wife if we could move to a state that allowed total NP independence and I was promptly shut down. We both still have too much family here in Jersey.
