Can anyone help with identifying where this chip came from?
It's about 1-1/2 inches/4cm in diameter, both sides are identical.
No numbers or letters anywhere, including on the rim.
Goat or sheep head decoration as shown.
Has a metallic core (it will stick to a magnet).
It was found among a family member's effects after they passed.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Chip1930. The chip itself is a cheap plastic "slugged" (metal core) chip. I don't recognize the design/mold but nothing of this type is valued for the chip itself.

Its provenance however could give it sentimental value, or in rare cases real value if it came from a movie set or some other desired origin.

My best guess is a retailer or souvenir shop got 'lucky golden goat' chips made or something and threw a hotstamp on generic plastic chips to market them. Or it could be a 'free drink' token to a brewery, or a hip concert ticket, or any number of things.
