I am looking to make DiamondJacks $1000 chip. (I don't think these ever existed.)

Please give me suggestions for mint-ish condition blaze orange 43mm IHC chips that I can murder. I can get the inlays made, no problem there.

I was thinking maybe the blaze orange RPC cash $1000, or even the secondary Arc yellow. But they are difficult to come by and expensive.

I just want something that works well with the $500, maybe the $100. Are there any Blaze IHC chips I could use and doesn't blow the bank.?
I would like a rack (maybe more).
Is it possible to get a price of $15/chip? If I want mint-ish, does that mean I need to pay $$$$?

Here's something real quick I stole from the TCR sale:

Yea I agree - I think that sunset beach 25k would look pretty dang good with this setup

So I don’t think any of the oranges will work with those t5s. Maybe arc yellow. Or just a yellow. Sb T1k or the sb$100.

If you're using Gear and haven't gotten on their waiting list we won't see these until next Spring

I know this all to well. So I'm not using Gear.

I'll be using the same place that made these Sterling 500 inlays for me.

Just getting the chips I wanted took a long time. If you are stalking me on this forum, you probably know which chips I was going after. But it took a couple months to find them, and convince the previous owners to let me have them. I had to use a lot of "convincing." (Money)

Then, I've had a lot of trouble getting the inlays made.

Especially because I wanted to copy the UV security writing that the original chips have.
Example:

I asked the printer if they could also do UV security writing. And they said yes!

Next, I used the vector graphics inlays provided by @TheOffalo and @Colquhoun too make a new $1,000 inlay.
I imported their work into Inkscape and removed the current denomination and added in my own.
It was difficult to get the font of the "$1,000” to look just right. The numbers are one font and the dollar sign is a different one.

At first, results looked promising...

The UV security writing was a different color, but still looked good.

The problem was that the UV writing overwrote over the rest of the inlay.

Zoom in to see.

So, that sucks.
They tried to fix it and reprinted them, but they couldn't stop the UV portion from overwriting the "normal" part of the inlay.

UV stuff was newer for the company and they haven't gotten the bugs out.

After a month of trying, they refunded the failed prints and gave me a discount to have them printed again with no UV security writing.

Months of getting chips and delays of getting the inlays.

But I'm nearly there.

I'll have a finished $1k chip by the end of this weekend!

If I don't post by then, feel free to @ me.

Wow love the look. Can we see it lined up with the other chips?
