Hello everyone! First time in here, and trying to start getting into everything! Just got a hold on an I-deal shuffler; because Single deck stuff would work out quite nicely for me given I can get more games out of a single deck than a multi-deck shuffler given my space commitment as of currently. Out of curiosity, does anyone know of any good ways to mount and/or have a cabinet made for it? I was thinking of doing that and storing chips with it, however I am open to hearing any avenue I could cross with it! :D I am in the Southwestern region of Michigan, quite close to Benton Harbor; so I'd even be willing to meet up if anyone nearby would want to try and make something for it. My budget would be around 500-ish dollars; and I am open to hearing anything and everything you guys may have in your sleeves!

Welcome!

I'm Team Cart as far as shufflers go. I've never seen yours irl but by the video I just watched it looks like it's on the bigger side. I definitely recommend not putting it in your table unless the table itself is huge.

I recently had a couple price quotes for a custom cart for my ShuffleMaster DM1 & they were both in the $500 range which mirrors your budget. You can also go the much cheaper route by buying something prefabricated from IKEA, Amazon etc & cutting a hole in it.

Have you reached out to American Gaming Supply who sells them? I know there are carts for the Deckmate that they sell so maybe they have one for the I-Deal as well.

Good luck & keep us posted!

Hey @TheRealTeddyKGB I bought the side table from AGS and kind of immediately started regretting it when I picked up the box. It was so light. I was expecting a strudy metal table, But what I received was a pretty flimsy table and the cut is terrible. My deckmate almost slips thru. I had to call in a favor and have someone make me a sheetmetal flange to more safely secure the deckmate into the table. Bottom line is that making your own cart or table if preferable to overpaying for the one at AGS and I dis not find any other source for a specific deckmate cart/table. The table is black and the deckmate is black so the aluminum color that you see is my sheetmetal flange.

Hello again! :D I very much appreciate the responses so far; and no, I have not thought about going to American Gaming Supply; and I guess that was a good choice then. I have not seen anything for an I-deal shuffler before; so any suggestions for custom work may be the best bet for me! Do you have any contacts for anyone?

Doesn't sound like @LeCoq had a good experience with his AGS unit so maybe that’s not a good path.

I would look in your immediate area for a person/woodworker who can build you what you want. It will probably be in the $500 area but at least you will get exactly what you want & it will fit as they can take measurements to ensure that it does.

There's a guy here @alecnetwoodworks that does amazing work if you're looking for something fancy.

Anything custom will take time so I hope you're patient

Carnival games and single deck BJ, and a bit of poker! Depends on the day; but I can hand deal a deck that I set to single shuffle.

The ideal has a stand thst sits halfway into the table and the other half in a mount

Okay! I am totally in love with this shuffler; just gotta think of the logistics on how I should put this thing together.

What game is your favorite?

The display hangs off the back so just make sure you have access to the rear display. Here are a couple examples in case it would help generate some ideas for you.

Here is of a casino's

That would be an I-Deal+ right? I believe mine does not have that display screen, besides the back end of it. Lemme throw a photo in of it!

Here it is!

Yeah that's the same size dimensions minus the front facing screen. So the same mount

You never answered what your favorite game was

Oh! Thank you. I do love Blackjack for sure. 3-card is always fun as well! Then Texas Holdem is my favorite Non-carnival game

@Nuclearman22 any update here? I'm in the same boat with an I-deal, but also have tight space next to my octagon table, so my solve should be interesting. Once I have my machine in hand, I'll start noodling ideas.

Just a quick update, I went with my tried and true solution, the oak aquarium stand. When you have little space, need to support weight, and want maximum flexibility, these aquarium stands are tough to beat, and usually run less than $30. There are two size and this is the larger one. I have the smaller size on the other size of my table.

This larger one cam painted mat black, so I sprayed painted it with texture paint to dress it up a bit, hide imperfections, etc. I have a garage full of scraps, etc., so I used various angle irons I had to support it from the inside.
