Hi all

I am thinking of buy a set of hybrid ceramics, do any of you have photos of the different label types of these chips, they have advised either matte or semi-gloss.

Which is best for print quality/durability/visibility?

Thanks

Matte is smooth and not very reflective. The semi-gloss is essentially gloss, very shiny and has tiny bumps that create a texture.
Some like the texture of the semi-gloss, but I think they are so reflective that it can be distracting depending on the lighting.

Semi-gloss on the left and matte on the right, the lighting has been set up to enhance the reflections, but you get the idea:

Thanks for this, would you recommend to go with the matt over the semi gloss? Is there any difference in print quality/durability between the two? Thanks

For me, matte is by far the better, because I don’t like the reflections. However, some aren’t bothered by the reflection and prefer the textured feel.
Print quality is the same on both
