Huge set of Milano China Clays $750 shipped CONUS

These Milanos are all freshly cleaned and oiled. Most have been felted exactly one time. They’re literally better than new from an online vendor, as the color variations Milanos are infamous for have been dealt with by cleaning and oiling. They look fantastic, as opposed to the dull powdery look and feel they have brand new. Never mind how many hours the Mrs and I put into cleaning and oiling each individual chip. #fingercrampingisathing

I purchased enough to cover two large sets. One for a cash game and one for a tournament set. However, I decided to buy a set of Paulson’s for a cash set and I’ve just been spending money non stop since. And these need to go, as I have 3 more complete sets on the way. My racks runneth over.

Here’s the breakdown…

$1s x 200
$5s x 600
$25s x 300
$50s x 200 (which I intended on using as fracs, I like these better than their actual frac)
$100s x 400
$500 x 200
$1,000 x 200
$5,000 x 100
$10,000 x 100

I used the $1 - $50s for a cash set that easily accommodates a full table with $500 buy ins and plenty of rebuys. You can do the math.

For the one tournament I hosted just last weekend, I did 40k in chips per buy in with a break down of 15 x 100, 9 x 500, 9 x 1,000 and 5 x 5,000 with blinds starting at 100-200. Enough chips for 3 tables with plenty of rebuys.

If you want to make this easy on me, I’ll sell the entire 2,300 chips for $750 and I’ll pay for shipping in CONUS. International shipping is fine, but you’re paying the difference and any insurance you desire.

I’ll consider breaking this up into sub sets, but the minimum order is 100 chips and they will be priced at .35/chip and you pay the shipping. That’s a significant difference in your bottom line. I’d consider covering shipping if you wanted all the cash set or tournament set.

There are plenty of pics included. PPFF or Venmo is fine.

To clarify…

I will break this sale into 2-4 sets. But, that’s it. It makes no sense to buy 100 chips from me, as shipping will cost nearly as much as the chips. So, here’s the potential breakdowns.

All 2,300 as advertised. $750 shipped CONUS.

Large Cash set $450 shipped CONUS
200x 50s (played as fracs)
200x 1s
600x 5s
200x 25s

Small Cash set (x2) $240 shipped CONUS for 600 chips
100x 50s (played as fracs)
100x 1s
300x 5s
100x 25s

Large Tournament set $350 shipped CONUS for 1,000 total chips
400x 100s
200x 500s
200x 1000s
100x 5000s
100x 10000s

Small Tournament set (x2) $200 shipped CONUS for 500 total chips
200x 100s
100x 500s
100x 1000s
50x 5000s
50x 10000s

Pic would be the large tourney set option

I’d be all over this if I didn’t live in the UK.
I’ve never shipped chips to the UK, but I have recently bought chips from Switzerland and Sweden. I’ve also sold high end home audio equipment (pre/pro, processor, amplifiers and even xlr cables to a guy in the UK). It wasn’t cheap, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. If you wanted a smaller set, it wouldn’t be worth it to pay for shipping. But, if you were interested in the entire lot, it would still be worth it, as shipping would only bump up the total cost by about a dime a chip, which would still come in significantly cheaper than retail. No worries if you’re not interested, but selling the entire lot in one sale certainly has enough appeal to me to work with you on shipping if you want to pursue the option.

It’s a cracking deal and although it’s better than retail, there’s shipping, duty and VAT for me to consider. I don’t need them but I’d love to have them. Out of curiosity, do you know what shipping would be?

I’m not 100%, but guessing around $180-$200. I didn’t consider the duty and VAT aspect. I’d work with you on the shipping side. No clue on the other stuff.

The import duty and VAT are just over $200. Assuming they don’t come in racks that would be another $100. $1250 is too much for me but I wish you well in finding a new home for them.
What new sets have you ordered?

In the past 6 weeks or so, I’ve bought Casablanca chips from 4 different people to accumulate a pretty nice set cash set. I picked up another cash set of Detroit Jacks from a couple different fellas on here, as well as some Cincinnati Jack 1s to fill the void until I can find Detroit Jack 1s to replace them. You can see both sets in my profile pic.

The next sets coming are a set of hybrid Tina’s both for cash and tournaments with inlays I designed. That’s a larger order of 2,400 chips. I also have a custom set of 1,200 ceramics from BRPro for tournaments. I didn’t really intend on doing both. I planned on one or the other, but couldn’t decide so I did both. The artwork is attached. They may not be Paulson’s, but when I host 25+ players, I’d rather not worry so much about what some of the people are doing to my pricey chips. So the tournament sets are designed to take damage and not get me dusted up. And the Tina cash set will be in play on tournament nights when players bust out. Again, so players I barely now aren’t getting there hands on my Paulson’s.

The next sets I’ll be ordering will be CPCs. I’ve designed them and been in touch, but with the new ownership, they aren’t accepting orders until September ish. In all likelihood, once I order the CPC set, I’ll part company with the Casablanca cash set. It’s safe to say that I’ve fallen all the way into the deep end of the pool, having spent well over 10k in the past six weeks alone with no intention of slowing down anytime soon. lol

I’m not the biggest fan of ceramics, but I confess after getting samples, and working with Kristil in the design team, I was blown away with the “cool factor” for them matching my tables/neon sign/etc. I also had them make me some business chips with a QR code with my poker clubs FB and Discord pages. I can pass them out when I meet a player I want to invite at a casino, another home game, etc.

It’s been a wild few months. 3 months ago, I hadn’t even played poker seriously in years. Health reasons, but still. I decided to play in a tournament at the closest casino on a whim and cashed in third. I played another the next day and cashed in 4th. The next weekend I won. But, the casinos are 2 hours away and charge insane rakes. So, I started overhauling my poker room. And here we are. Just as all in as I was back in the poker boom in my 20s. Only with deeper pockets and more expensive taste. lol

The best part has been getting to spend so much time with my son. He’s 14. I’m sure many would frown on me letting him play with the adults. But, he’s played in 4 cash games and one tournament with us. He’s the only person to cash out ahead in every single session. So, dad doesn’t mind spending some doe to keep him fully interested. We played heads up for 4 hours just earlier this evening. Can’t put a price on your teenager wanting to hang with his dad!

Pretty sure they are sold and I totally understand. Hope you find something great!

Wrong pic for the BRPros. This is after minor tweaks, dealer buttons and business chips.

Better idea of the entire room. I’m currently building a third table. Had a few extra felts made with the same layout as the main table. Will recover the table with the light blue speed felt, too. I built that one nearly 25 years ago. But, she’s been a great able and if I can figure out how to get a shuffler built in (I made the top a little different than I would have had shufflers been available to consumers 25 years ago), I’ll hang onto her. If not, I’ll build another and sell her to a good home. Truth be told, I love building poker tables. I’ve built a few dozen, mainly for friends so when I play at their houses, they have nicer stuff. lol. But, I’ve considered making it a side business, just so I have an excuse to keep building and not even sweat if it profits. If it breaks even, I’m content. I love the builds.

Like yourself I’m trying to get back into poker after many years away. Unfortunately that isn’t easy as the draconian gambling laws in Northern Ireland ban poker and casinos so we rely on finding a game through word of mouth. Your set-up and chips look superb and remember to post photos of your custom set when they arrive.
