Well they are mounted to wooden blocks so they certainly look like they are for type setting in a printer press.

I also imagine chip molds are always several rows and columns, never a single.

Would be a nice antique for a collection.
 
Yeah that' what I figured too. But someone here, especially who likes old molds like the hub, might wanna grab that for the old chip display.

I put this on The Chip Board too. As those guys collect anything chip/casino related. Might be gone real soon, lol.

My understanding is that molds are rows and columns, but cups are individual chip dies that fit into the mold. So a mold would have 15 or 20 cups that could be taken out and mounted to a block of wood. Not saying that's what happened here, but could be.

That's interesting, I didn't know that. You're probably right then.
 
From looking at other listings by the seller, I think these are printing blocks originally used to print a magazine for a vendor of cards, dice and other gambling items. Still pretty cool!
