Selling my HSI set. Chips have been cleaned.

200x $1a mint
300x $5 primary
100x $25 primary
100x $100 primary (excellent, cherry picked rack)

$1500 plus shipping, PPFF or add the fee

Optional add on of 200x live Sycuan $1s for $300. Intended to overlabel these as HSI $1s since their condition matches the $5s for stack height vs the mint $1a. Plus they look excellent with the set. #teamBlueDollar

For the first 24 hours any interested in buying will be added to a random draw to purchase, after 24h with no interested buyer it will be a dibs sale.

Put in my interest for a set of ASTs Nav was selling. Plan to use them for both STT and small cash games so don't think I'll need another set for a looong while if I manage to snag them :)
i just saw that. Hope you get it! It’s a beautiful first set indeed

Att you going cpc or a relabel project?
CPC atm, will see where that leads me, unsure if I would be willing to wait 9 months for the set if I finally settle with one. But atm its a aurora star themed cash set which takes inspo from both its cash set and tournament set but with non standard colors for values

Could I see a close up of a $1 and $5?
These are indeed Paulson THC chips, correct?
Why do you think, if these are the same chips except the blue $1, why are the whites stacked about 1/3 chip taller? Is it use greater for the $5 vs. the $1's?
Where would they ship from? Do they weight less than 30lbs.?

Hey Doug, these are Paulson RHC chips. The white $1 chips are from the casinos secondary chip set, so they never were put into use, whereas the rest of the chips are casino used. That's partly why I got the blue $1 chips. Shipping from Utah, they will fit in either 2 USPS medium flat rate boxes (safer, especially if taking blue chips as well) or 1 USPS large flat rate box.

Thanks for the info, but I was referring to close-ups of the chips label side.... white & red. They look like different labels per the original photos.

The $1s have a different in lay size than the $5s, but both of those are the primary Horseshoe Indiana Chip. The only chip that is an outlier are the blues, but a great addition, bc that blue matches the $5 edge spots.

1A were available in greater quantity than the primary $1 but they were more popular and harder to get now it seems as less people release them back into the wild

This is the best close up of the faces I have on my phone. The inlay on the $1 is slightly different because it is from the secondary set vs the primary set. It also is interesting because it has the 7/8" inlay size used on the THC mold rather than the usual 1 1/16" used for RHC mold. The same was true on the $2.50 chips and fracs if I recall correctly.

There were 3 Hsi 1s - these purple spot ones are referred to as “1a”. all the Hsi 1s have the smaller inlay labels than the rest of the set.
Yep, all the HSI chips below $5 had a smaller inlay. Interesting to note is the Horseshoe Baltimore also used a smaller 7/8" inlay on their $1 chips, but that made sense, as they were THC:

Who knows why they decided to move to RHC, yet keep the 7/8" inlay.

That seems to be what the preferred mold is from GPI to get them to buy it now
Or a house mold right on the edge of the Chip that probably wears out even faster

Wears out faster, more re-orders quicker
LOL, a casino replacing a chip for wearing out...
What would a chip, used for years...finally worthy of replacement, look like?... a bicycle tire?
We all know they don't change those out.
I'm not saying that they're indestructible, but I'm not sure the casinos care if they get prematurely rounded.

There has to be some reason the majority of new chips are RHC or house mold
Others have mentioned here how they wear faster for the casinos
I guess I’m not sure how often they get replaced either

Bigger inlay size = more room for casino branding. I don't think the mold has as much to do with casino wear as the formula for the chip - the leaded recipe was definitely more durable. Obviously we care about flea bites and sharp edges, but the casino does not.
