1x CPC tourney set (600) - I've hosted 3 tourneys in my life, all over one weekend
1x RHC limit set (1600) - I only learned how to play limit at the aforementioned weekend last summer
1x CPC cash set (1000) - Stupid bank that could cover £2/£5 even though we play £1/£1 max
1x RHC cash set (600) - Spare cash set, just in case...keep trying to sell this but never quite manage it...this was where my clay journey began. Rattled through China Clay and Ceramic sets too but they're long gone now.

So I'm under 4000....and host 3 games a year. Could be worse...

1000 Classics (T), 700 Empress (T), 400 Misc

Some other odds and ends.

Games annually 2 or less.
 
For our cash game we play a handful times per year i got 4 sets in rotation.
Sweet spot for me is 3 sets. So one set will probably go…

And there is a Rio replica set for the tourneys we never play! But i want to keep this one.

PCF is such a great place if you‘re interested in chips & co.
But your wallet gets fisted!
 
Joined PCF in February.

Before I literally had 0 chips. A buddies dice set got moved from house to house with the game but basically lived at mine as the other houses got other chips.

I have:
500 NJ skulls
~1000 Bursts, Fun Nite, Milled or overlabelled
~1100 Obsolete Casino Used Paulsons
1100 Royal Card Room
~4700 Live Las Vegas Paulsons (soon to be less, see auctions)
~1300 Tinas on slow boat from China
~1100 Chipco Set Used 1-100 & New 500, 1k
2000+ Assorted Sluggos that I didnt pay for but somehow still have.

And now:
15 minutes questioning life choices.
 
Back in the days I had about 12 000, but now only 2 800.
- 1000 chip tourney set + extras
- 1000 chip cash set
- 500 chip portable cash set
- 200 chip small hotstamped cash set
- 100 chip headsup set

Sheesh....Playing live only 2-3 times cash per year anymore.
 
Well, I’ve purged many chips in last 2 years. Many regrets, but it’s just a hobby, I don’t think on it too much. I’m still very much into chips though, and while I’ve accepted I’ll never get back the chips I let get away, I simply went and got some others.

**EDIT : I count ~10K chips**

Good Exercise to experience.

I had not realized the extent of it all. Counted Rack by Rack, Unfinished project after unfinished project.

Probably sold 35-40k over the past 5 years. Down to 20-25k I figure. Mostly customs and a couple meaningful sets left. Nothing too valuable. Still too many for the minimal games I host (despite the setup)

I do host 2 cash games a week.

One game is a .25 cent game, NLH, and the second is currently 2.50/5 NL Mixed, sometimes 5/5 game, sometimes 5/10, depending who is in town.

Sometimes we mix it up - use other sets.

I host a Black Chip Limit Mixed game once a year, 100/100.

Have a single / two table Tourny a couple times a year, for those I use the higher value ARIA's or Bellagio's

I have been going through a process - preparing my 43mm chips to be used for all my cash games, starting at 25¢. That is my current goal. Hope it works out better than my other projects, which have not always been finished.

Side Note, though, like every chipper, I just got invited to a casino private game of mixed limit 8/16. So I will rebuild my stolen / lost Limit Set that was left at my family members house to never be seen again. I might try to convince the players to abandon the casino location and host the game. Not sure I can pull it off, will take some time - but I better have the chips ready when needed. I need to replace 2,000 Paris 1's THC. Might settle for Venetian 1's. or Bally's 1's and use the Paris 1's for the Big Value chip. Either way, it sounds like this hobby is not ending.
 
The basement / poker room was just finished las month. Had to postpone Saturdays game until next month. But, finally dug out my storage containers holding my chips today. A guess off the top of my head, approx 25k chips. About 18 or 19 sets. Took a picture of one set. Getting ready to sell off all future projects, misc racks, and sets I have no plan to use.

Just pulled my chips out of storage today. Might be able to help you out with the majority of the Paris $1’s.

Racks of that Live chip is on my NEED list.
 
I’ve been hosting for 22 years. Monthly NLHE game with 3-4 tables, season rankings, and a Tournament of Champions at the end of each year. Rotate my tourney sets each month. Some get more play than others. Cash games always happen on tourney nights and then occasional one table cash games for the original crew a couple times a year in between events.

The calm before the storm…..
