How many chips do you own? (3 Viewers)

25k to 100k+ at any given time.

I guess it's time to let something go. My passion for hoarding has reached the point where I can't even count how many chips I have (the same goes for my watch collection, actually). But it's around 10,000+ in various sets. I have my favorites that I'd love to use more often, but I’ve run into a problem—my relatives keep asking for a specific set, and we end up playing with that one more than the others. And some sets have never even touched felt, since they were bought on a whim and I later didn’t know how to put them to use...

Hmmm, once 2 projects come together in the next 6-9 months I expect to be basically done building out except for slowly working at HU racks which only adds 100 chips at a time. At that point I can't wait to do my one and only family photo out on the table. Getting custom felt between now and then is also the plan. When I get there, will be just over 10k I think.

3 1000pc sets: BCC Nevada Jacks cash
1 1000pc: ASM tourney
1 1200pc: CPC cash
1 1000pc: ASM hot stamp cash
1 1000pc: BCC hot stamp cash
1 1200pc: Burt hot stamp cash
1 800pc: Burt hot stamp cash (travel)
1 600pc: BCC hot stamp cash (travel)
1 400pc: BCC hot stamp cash (heads-up)

I did not realize this was my current total.

11 sets that look to be at right about 10k.

~But~ 8 of those sets were purchased over 5 years ago, so *technically* they don't even count...

UPDATE:

I got memo from the folks down in legal, and they indicate that there is novel defence strategy for the question at hand.

They theorize that the grand majority of new-to-mid duration forum members *and* the ultra long duration members might get behind this defense. Should be enough to get me over the 50% forum support line.

Here it is:

"Only 2 of the 11 sets have factory inlays. The hot-stamp sets simply don't count."

We're going with that...
