Hey All,

I’m sure this has been asked 1000s of time, but I wanted to get everyone’s opinion, and see what they think of this set.

I’d like to eventually work up to 20 People, but let’s just say 14 people for now. Two tables. One table with 8 one with 6.

T10,000 Starting Stacks
12/12/5/6

T25 - 170
T100 - 240
T500 - 175
T1000 - 150
T5000 - 40
T5000 Plaques - 4
T25,000 Plaques - 2

Would like to host two formats. T10K start with 1 rebuy per person. And then 2nd format T20K no rebuy.

25/50 starting blinds.

What do I need more of? I’ve heard the 100 and 1000 chips are your workhorse chips. Do I need more 1000 chips?

Thank for all the help!

Using 2 5K chips for rebuys (or making a 20K starting stack) you need

168 x T25
168 x T100
70 x T500
89 x T1K
39 x T5K

T10,000 Starting Stacks
12/12/5/6

T25 - 170
T100 - 240
T500 - 175
T1000 - 150
T5000 - 40
T5000 Plaques - 4
T25,000 Plaques - 2
Too many T100 chips.

For 14 players with 12/12/5/6 stacks, you'll need at least:

168 x T25
168 x T100
70 x T500
106 x T1000 (includes 22x for T25/T100 color-ups)
35 x T5000 (inclueds 7x for T500 color-ups, and 28x used for either T20k starting stacks or up to 14x T10K re-buys)
-------------
547 chips, putting between 106-141 chips on the table at tournament end.

Thank you sir!!

Any particular reason you're not doing 7-7? I wouldn't be too happy to start on the 6 player table.

I have two different tables. (See below). Blue table is max 6 IMO. However, I guess I could try it out. You do make a good point.

Close to what I posted but I was using T5K chips to color up the T100s. Does that get too many T5Ks on the table too early or does it matter?

I don't think it has enough T1000s in play in the mid-to-late levels when they are most needed.

One can always exchange for more T5000s if really needed/useful, but you can't add T1000 chips you don't have. :)

Either format you need T20k chips per player. So just a difference between what you need for 14 or 20 players.

25 - 170
T100 - 240
T500 - 175
T1000 - 150
T5000 - 40
T5000 Plaques - 4
T25,000 Plaques - 2

If planning 12/12/5/6 starting stacks, you need that times 14 plus 21 additional T1000 for color ups, and 2 T5000 per player for rebuy or single buy super stacks

So for 14 players you need 168/168/70/105/28, which means you are about right for now. (With surplus T100 and T500)

For 20 players you need 240/240/100/150/40, which means you're really only short on T25.

Thanks boss! Sounds good to me:)
