How do you design toppers/felt (1 Viewer)

I'm in the process of getting a table custom made from a local builder and want to create a custom felt design. What software do you use to make them or where to find some templates, design ideas etc?

I don't know what the kids are using these days, I would have used Adobe Illustrator 20 years ago but any drawing program that produces .eps files should do the job. The "template" will depend upon your table shape and size.

For ideas, look at photos of custom felts on this forum, and steal find inspiration from what you like. You don't want something too busy in my opinion, lest you lose focus on the important things! (chips)

Inkscape is a free desktop app that enables me to do everything I used to do with Photoshop.

I just make it in Powerpoint! Inkscape is to complicated for me, haha

Affinity is a very powerful program for free. Very similar to adobe illustrator but can’t export in .ai format.

I use CorelDraw since years - old Program, but it does it works!

I have good experience with printing on neoprene - quite expensive but perfect feeling and quality!
