UPDATE: now that I’m in a place where I can take a better picture, new photo attached. That previous photo was taken at 6:00 a.m. on the console in my car in the Paris parking garage as the sun was rising. (Not the most flattering photographic conditions.)

New photo really highlights the colors…especially that dark green $25.

Well, it’s official. As of about five hours ago, Bally’s is no more.

On the way to work, I stopped in to grab a few of the new Horseshoes. At 6:00 a.m., most of the tables (including the poker room) were still were using the Bally’s chips. A lady at one of the roulette tables sold me these.

$65 shipped if anyone wants these (for my time standing in the long holiday post office line).

Also feel free to comment…thoughts on these new chips? The $25 is super dark green and all are RHC. I don’t love the $5 either….I wish they would have done something other than a basic inlay….

Nothing to really write home about in my humble opinion.

But hit me up if you want these! I’ll get them shipped out NLT Monday if you do :)

So... informal poll: who here thinks Caesars Entertainment deliberately chose an underwhelming design to dissuade harvesting? I mean... all they'd need to do is read PCF for 10 minutes to know what's popular.

They should be doing that, after what happened with the Paris chips this year. But I don’t think they’re thinking that much about it. And this chip could easily have been worse. You could go 218 instead of 214. And that peach or whatever is kind of nice.

Looks like they used cpcs old regular white. Those are gross.

Any casino could boost profits with $1-2-3 dollar good looking chips!!

Considering the fact that they are killing off literally all their nice patterns one by one, I believe in a world of rising costs they are streamlining the process. And the new wsop style super simple spot patterns were born. This will be the new push if I was a betting man.
