We play $1/$2 NLH, $300 max buy in to start, with match the stacks rebuys. With straddles under the gun and on the button (usually one or the other, seldomly both) it routinely plays like a $2/5 game within a few hours. We play a $10 bounty on 7/2 hands that win a hand. Button calls the game bomb pots on any mono suited flops, most call double board PLO. Bomb pots usually start at $10/person, but as the night progresses, we’ve been known to get crazier. Bomb pots are purely optional, fwiw. The core players are mostly solid players. A few that have more money than sense, but we focus on having fun above anything else. No one gets loaded or anything like that. My wife deals and my 15 year old son plays with us most nights, so it’s pretty chill. Family friendly is an apt description.
