I was wondering when this thread would pop up...think Jim is going Z to A.....I usually am at the beginning of shipments when he does sales...looks like this one is backwards. Looking forward to some PRON!!!!!!

My split buddy made me jealous I didn't get any secondary $5s. My half (minus a barrel of $1000 which shook loose some blaze orange in a trade):
And let's all take a moment to admire my absolute favorites:
Pictures just don't do the $500s justice, they are stunning, and the $100s...mmmm. My wife loves the primary $5 and might actually want more! Paulson craps set? How could I say no!

Gotta know in person...primary or secondary $5's in person? I was on board with primaries up until I submitted my order...I grabbed secondaries, but those primaries look like they pop...Pickup day (ignore the derby gran $25s on bottom):

I also struggled with the $5's... every other selection in my lineup was easy (in my opinion). The secondaries are a show stopper when stacked, but I prefer the face-on view of the primaries. I also prefer the base shade of red on the primary. Ultimately, I went with primaries. I know I'll be pleased, but those secondaries are also awesome.

I ultimately went with the $5 primary because of the shade of red and spot pattern that will mimic similarly to the jacks Detroit $5 since I’ll be paring with primary jack $25 relabel project.
They are both great. The $5s in my second photo have been cleaned and oiled. I chose them because I liked the brighter red between the samples and the face looked better to me. The secondaries in stacks are just marvelous. I don't think you can go wrong with either. If the secondary was the brighter red I think it would be the winner with those spots.

I have a sample set and weighed on the 5's as well. I came to a personal conclusion on my liking. Colors > Spot Pattern.
Ideally I would like the secondary spot pattern with the Primary colors but given my choices I went Primary.
The bright red makes the difference for me. The reason I just got rid of my HS Cleveland is the dull red was bumming me out vs other sets.

Everything arrived and looks great! (except the 800x $5's for some reason)
All for a 400 chip tournament set and some fracs...
Gonna relabel the fracs as 5c in my little JACK cash set for when we play with new people who don't want to do a $20 buy in.
The secondary frac makes a perfect (although very expensive) 5c in my opinion!

very small order compared to most others. Plan on re-labeling the $2.50s as 2k chips, and the $25 as a 10k chip for a tournament set. Not sure what i'm going to do with the $1

Box 1, although "dented" & "rattling" seems good.
Pretty labels !
Seems everything arrived perfect!
What have I done? I'm in love though !
Impressive chips, the one are the only "filthy" chips and I've played with worse.
Dirty stacks and layer out.
She always has to get involved, thinks there cat toys . . .
My overall impression is FANTASTIC, Zero regrets! I went with the all used primary to save a bit and this will be my new #1 cash set. The ones were the only chips that were probably as I expected. Every other denomination far exceeded what i thought, beautiful.

Now this is really making me regret not pulling the trigger. I was going to do used for the 5, 25, and 100, and only spring for new for the 1s.
