So I invited a couple of old timers that either haven't played poker at all or have played a few times at a company event we've had. They're all interested though, so that's a good start.
I will start with the games rules, how to play - i.e. no string bets, etc. and then some basic poker strategy. Many of them were scientists and are well educated so I think the math will peak their interest.
I've printed out hand rankings and a few simple start hand charts, is there anything else I should print out or prepare?

Actual step by step guidelines, so they can know they get a round of betting, then a 3 card flop, round of betting, one card turn, round of betting, one card river, and round of betting. New people need to know how many cards are left to come and are always afraid to just ask.

I played low stakes limit. That seemed to get more folks in hands and helped them understand that :jc::4d: may not always be a super strong hand.
