Played some 5/5 at HPC last night. Cashed out at the cage, and had $1670 total in my wallet. I put my wallet in my front pants pocket; my pants are a little loose fitting. I look at some commotion going on at the baccarat tables for about 5 minutes and then leave to meet my Lyft. Got home and found $610 missing from my wallet!

Pickpocket must've been insanely skilled to steal just bills from my wallet, but also nice to not steal all of it?

Lesson learned, getting a fanny pack to keep my cash in front of my body.

Sorry to hear that, I got my bets stolen in front of the table manager at Lucky Lady in LA before. I had to ask witnesses of other players to get my bet back from a thief. A lady snagged my $15 bet from the back of the blackjack table, like "it's mine" and there were obvious witnesses.

Reading this makes me not want to go to LA casinos. I don't feel safe there, just like playing at Circus Circus.

Also, Hustler armored car was robbed yesterday too. Definitely, something sketchy is going on, keep your money safe everyone.

I dunno. Not taking all your money and returning the wallet seem like unlikely events to me. Much lower risk for them to take the whole wallet, all the cash, and then leave the wallet in the bathroom or something than risk putting anything back in your pocket with a second move.

The thief knows that stealing over $950 in value is a felony, also wallets might have air tags nowadays.

Yea that's what I thought, why not just take my whole wallet?

Maybe some of my cash was sticking out of my wallet and thief thought it was easier to just pull that out? idk
