Hi everybody! I'm moving to Alabama (sad to move away from my current home casino) and knowing myself I'm sure I'm going to try and get a game going at my new place. New to the world of custom chips but it's a very cool forum to dive into. If anyone can direct me to resources to help me learn about the hobby, I'd appreciate it!

Thank you. This answers so many questions. I've been looking at past group buys and "best of" posts and there's some amazing designs. Any advice on what manufacturers make the most vibrant colors, or should I direct those types of questions in another forum?
You can ask questions and order sample chips for the Broken Arrow Cardroom Supply group buys in this thread:

For samples and designs from a US based manufacturer at a different price point, you can view samples of Br Pro Poker chips in this thread:

You can order sample sets of available designs on their website:

Welcome to PCF, I browse facebook marketplace in North Mississippi and get jealous of all the poker tables that are just a bit too far in Alabama. If you're going to buy a poker table for your home game check there first.

I was looking at some build threads to get table inspiration but I’ll keep an eye on FB as well. Thanks for the tip.

I have played in this tourney twice now. It could be ran a little more efficiently, but you can get to know some people in the area that may have home games. You should give it a go. All Cash. It is in Madison (Directly west of HSV). Google/Apple Maps Madison Bowl on 72 for directions

Notes on the game:
15 min levels - You maybe get an orbit in during each level (Slow game)
Dealer rotates - People who don't usually deal have to shuffle and deal
Only one deck of cards per table, there is no pre-shuffled deck for the next dealer.
People are LOOSE during rebuy period.
Practically everyone adds on at the end.
The burger and tater tots are good, allegedly.

Usually Payout 4-5. Total pots have been $2400/2550.
45-55 players
