I have a set with the following breakdown. Looking for recommendations on how to split it up into multiple sets to sell.

I could simply split everything equally, but I'm sure the breakdowns wouldn't be great, and I don't mind having some remainders left over to sell separately...

Thanks!

T5 x 381
T25 x 574
T100 x 555
T500 x 280
T1000 x 256
T5000 x 47

Best option might be 2 sets that start with T5 and 1 set starting with T25...

Are you keeping one set or wanting to sell 2 sets? If keeping some, how many players do you want it to be for?

Paging Dave because I know he doesn't have anything better to do than work out tourney breakdowns and blind schedules during his day (perhaps he should make his own resource page  :whistling:)

Want to sell all chips. I'm assuming single table sets would be the easiest to find buyers for. I could sell all at once, but don't expect too many people looking to drop $8k plus on chips at one time...

Here is a breakdown of the only T5 set I own

T5000 starting stack:
10 x T5
10 x T25
12 x T100
7 x T500
-------
39 chips = T5000

Chip set:
100 x T5
100 x T25
125 x T100
75 x T500
------
400 total chips

Best option might be 2 sets that start with T5 and 1 set starting with T25...
I don't have time right now to do the math on the breakdown, but that's what I was thinking. Although with 381 T5s chips, you might have enough to break out a couple racks+ of 5s to sell separately or use in a cash set. With 2093 total chips, there's probably enough chips to breakout into 3 sets -- either 3 tourney sets, or maybe 2 tourney + 1 cash set. Two 800 chip tourney sets for up to 20 people each + 1-400 chip set.

Thanks for the replies!

Fyi, these are spotted Aztars, and AFAIK, this represents more than half the total chips out there, so unlikely anyone will need any one denom in quantity...

Here's one option I whipped up quickly:

Here's what I came up for full optimization:

3 x T5/T2000 sets
10/10/7/2 starting stacks for 10 + color ups
T5 - 100
T25 - 100
T100 - 75
T500 - 25

2 x T25/T10000 sets
12/12/5/6 starting stacks for 10 + color ups
T25 - 120
T100 - 120
T500 - 56
T1000 - 72
T5000 - 6

Leaves these chips remaining
T5 - 81
T25 - 34
T100 - 90
T500 - 93
T1000 - 112
T5000 - 35

Edit: My teachers always had to remind me to show my work...

Thanks to all of the help so far!

Dave, would love to see the starting stacks if it's not too much trouble, thanks!
