Need some help to use this set at its best.
I finally found some brand new Diecar chips to buy, relabel and add as $500, $1000 or (why not?!) $2000.
Considering we always play STT, what's the best structure to have? T2000? T5000?
How many chips ($500/1000/2000) should I buy?
On the other side, shall I let some of this $5/25/100 go? Trying to sell them as sample set or barrel?

Breakdown
$5 --> 116
$25 --> 128
$100 --> 191

I can’t find the link to the original thread unfortunately, but I have several screenshots of @BGinGA suggestions for various tournament structures and breakdowns. This is what I grabbed for T5 structures if you are looking to use as is. Certainly there are other options but this is a good starting point. This would suggest you have some extras if you think you will only play single table tournaments.

Given what you already have :

T5 x 100
T25 x 100
T100 x 100 (incl. the ones to color-up the T5 + an one-time bonus of 200 per player)
T500 x 30 (incl. the ones to color-up the T25)

I'd also keep 10 spares of each.
And 40 additionnal T500 in case you play with rebuys.

Thank you @joepro @MarquetteMonkey @Kid_Eastwood for your suggestions.
After reading your posts, I'm planning of having the set as follow:

T5 x 100
T25x 100
T100x 100
T500x 30
T2000x 10
Tot. 340 chips

(Please note that this is just a poor photoshopped pic. I still have to buy pink and yellow chips and relabel them. I know it's not the best spot progression...)

This way I should have enough chips for color-up and rebuys.
Thoughts?
Keeping 10 spares of each ($5/25/100) is also a good idea.

And after that, I will still have some chips to trade or sell (sample sets, barrel...)

(Some of the $100 seem to be a little discolored...)

10/10/7/3 is my standard tournament. You only need 3 t100s per stack to color up the 5 and 25 neatly. I suggest not coloring up past 500 unless you just want a reason to get a big chip in play which is fine. So 100/100/100 is perfect for a 10 max game. Then it’s just a matter of having enough big chips of your choosing which you seem to have a good idea of. Nice looking set!

Yes, for T5 base go 10/10/10 per seat which includes colour up, and as many T500 as you need to finish off your starting stack plus rebuys. Alternatively you can use all T1k for rebuys if you want another denom on the table.

With your break down I would do

10/10/12/x

Hundos are gonna be the workhorse and are easy for everyone to count so why not have a bunch on the table?

Or even 10/10/17 for that matter, then you can use a 500 chip for color ups and rebuys.

You could do it this way it just requires more chips. You’d end up with 15 per player instead of 10 which means another 50 in the set. Could have 100/100/150/50 for a 400 chip stt set with 40,000 max chips in play. Maybe a barrel of 1k on hand in case you need it.

Edit: I just realized you were commenting on the number of chips OP said he already has. Yeah I’m with you then. Add more hundos since they are already there, wouldn’t necessarily need them when creating a new set. Good idea.
