Hi there,
just found out about this forum a few days ago and love to learn more about poker chips and what sets one apart from another.
I was into Poker quite a while ago in the era of Moneymaker around 2005ish - basically while everyone was into it.
Recently I just stumbled over a few 1$ chips (blue caesars palace) from a trip to las vegas. Just love to shuffle them and the quality overall.
I noticed it is not very easy to get a good set in germany. I hope to find some good ideas here in the forum and learn something about poker chips.

Caesars Palace are a great start into house mold chips. Were the spotted chips difficult to get? I guess these are the version with the small inlay? Your avatar shows the one with the large inlay. Sexy chips!

What you mean by "spotted" chips?
Yes, the chips I took with me are the ones in my avatar - so large inlays.

Oh, I see. Was not sure if there was somekind of special lingo here
Was quite easy to get them. Most straightforward approach possible, just bag a few when playing in vegas. That was about 15 years ago. Maybe they changed the style since. But idk.
