Hey all, Ted here, been lurking heavily on the forum for a few weeks after finding you while researching getting a nice custom set. Not sure yet if this has made it easier or harder to get something now having so much more info xD will see how some eventual samples turn out!

Welcome!

Researching what you want and getting samples is a great start

Hello and Welcome! I’m from NE Ohio as well. Welcome to the forum :)

Welcome! Enjoy the ride! BUT BEWARE!!! I came here 9 months ago looking for the same thing. Now I own a set of Tinas, A set of CPC chips, a set of Paulson's and a half dozen racks of assorted singles totaling about 8000 chips. Not sure how or why, but here we are.

Oh man if I end up there my wife will kill me xD. You have a favorite set in your lineup? Seems like CPC not an option in the near term at least, and I didn’t love the BrPro samples I got, kind of narrowed myself to Tina’s or compiling a Paulson set, getting samples to help decide.

Oh for sure, my CPC set is my favorite. I spent months designing the chips and inlays. They are my forever set.

On the less expensive end of the spectrum, it would depend on whether you want custom inlays. If you do, then Justin's group buy is likely the way to go. If not, I really like the Royals or Majestics from Apache (or from someone on here).
