This was an idea I had planned for the HHR mold originally. Then I got a hold of a large set of jockey molds.

The chips came from the Oceanic Lesiure boat that cruised many years ago. The stamps were beat so the milling commenced.

The Hazel Park Raceway was a staple in Detroit area for many years. Tons of dirty dealings and mob activity went down. They had cards there but I never played there. Going to the track was fun enough!

My step-father ran the horses there in the late 70’s. He had a few verified run ins with packs of jockeys. One time he and his buddy both beat up some racers that were playing cards and being loud. So loud they used padlocks as brass knuckles. Sounds like a blast…

@Okku and I modeled the design off of the original sign that used to be on Dequindre Road in Hazel Park. I really like Oscar’s design on the dark label. We definitely could’ve went a little bit bigger on the font and or gotten rid of the establishment date on the bottom. When these got printed unfortunately he wasn’t there so we just ran the design.

I decided to use labels without denominations and make a limit set.
