I was doing some more drawings and making some mockups...The inlays would roughly font match and position match to look like the original chips. I think I like the 2010 chips better, they're almost like a hotstamp set. In the 2020 version I'd be compelled to change the "$5" chip to make it more neon and less drab as I think it currently is, I think it's the worst chip in that lineup.

Resort world chips are probably my favorite new Vegas line up. Cool idea with the homage. Maybe Tina group buy option
They look pretty awesome, neon and bright but balanced out by other chips as well.

Don’t forget about the burple! That might be my favorite chip they play with

I actually purposely avoided the blurple and the $500 chip in the 2010 version because I wanted chip stacks to resemble the real like versions and they rarely use $500 chips for obvious reasons, BUT, it’s one of my favourites, so I think I will have to play around a little to incorporate it!

Did you mean the 2020 version?

Not sure if you want to keep the order of chips but the line ups are:

2010
$100 - black
$500 - white
$1000 - yellow
$5000 - grey

2020
$100 - black
$500 - burple
$1000 - yellow
$5000 - grey
$25k - brown

Yup, I mistyped, I meant both 2010 and 2020 versions, not just the 2010 version.

Once I found out it was a Resorts World chipset from the 2020 version of the big game (thanks to @Dcarl ) I was able to dig a little deeper for reference pictures and I thought about just forgetting the original lineup based on colours I tried to do and instead converting the high stakes denoms into more standard low steaks denoms colours, see below.

I am also playing with the idea that @QuietMaple gave me of having two versions of each chip. In this case I have a "near perfect" chip (left) and a more "imperfect" chip (right). The differences are meant to be quite subtle (some more noticeable than others) but just enough that in a set of maybe 50% of each subtype (or 3:1) it might make a Tina set look a little more authentic? Has anyone tried this with Tina?

WIP UPDATE:

Drew a rough copy of the label and created an icon to replace the Resorts Worlds icon:

Here's the inlay on a stack of chips:

I also refined the colours and edge spots slightly to make it more realistic. Top row is an imperfect version of the chips and the bottom row is a near perfect version (...of the face at least, the edges are the inverse of that logic for some balance). And I changed my mind again and went back to the original idea of having the chip stacks resemble the Big Game so I went with a Yellow $0.25 and Black $1 (as this will account for most of the chips), and Blue $20 which I like as it's one of the fanciest chips in the lineup and they don't hold that many in their stacks so it fits the theme:

WIP UPDATE:

Got @Colquhoun to help me with creating the label files and got him to create some options for me. He went in a different direction with the icon and font and I'm liking it much more!

Some minor tweaks will come after this but the set is almost fully completed.

'nother update...made two versions of the chipsets:

Authentic set which is has accurate denoms that are 1000x smaller than the actual Resorts World chips, but instead of the fugly $25K brown chip, I used the $100K orange chip as the $20 (or $20K...) chip in this version of "The Little Game".

I really like the purple and yellow chips!
Nice job with the inlay, too. It definitely evokes the original Resorts World design.
