If these chips are posted online somewhere, they are already gone. Best to handle stuff like this in PM, or your deal will be snatched from under you by people who fleece old ladies with Picasso paintings.

That's about $1 per chip... not that great for such a quantity. They better be in great condition or have some other qualities.
***edit*** I made an assumption that there are 12000 chips. After re-reading, perhaps the hoard is much larger.
***edit again*** after re-reading again... I am not seeing a price... so perhaps the quantity is 12000 chips for unknown cost. Lol I need more coffee.

I do agree with you that it's best handled by PM, in private, away from public threads.
But, also, if these chips are posted online somewhere, other people (on PCF or not) will undoubtedly already have found them and contacted the seller already. Just because someone posts a thread on PCF does not necessarily mean that they have any 'exclusive deal' with the seller; and it doesn't necessarily mean that anyone on PCF would necessarily be the cause of any "snatching away." A seller could have already been contacted by multiple people before someone posts a thread on PCF.
There's also a probability that @navels already found these chips and he's in the process of loading them into his car right now.
