After spending time with your Pub Table, what are your impressions with how well it works for your group?

What size or features would you recommend now?

Updated 10NOV2025: Attached photos of purchased 72" GG Pub Table.

I read all the Pub Table posts I could find. Most were about tables about to be ordered, or recently received.

Then I’m sure you’ve heard from me. I got the 66 inch version because the 72 would have been too tight in my room. My 66 is perfect for 7 players and fine for 8. But we’re mostly average sized people.
It’s a great table; everybody loves it. But it’s definitely better for chatting with everybody than a long oval.

Do you think the 72" would have detracted from the community vibe like an oval? If you had the space, and still 6-8 players, would you go for the 72"?

No I don’t think so at all. I think the pub tables are wider than your average table too, which makes it feel closer to a circle. But I’d get the 72 without a doubt, if I had the room. My table is 31 inches from each wall and I didn’t want to make that 28, you know.

This is helpful. Thank you. Did you opt for the standard legs or the Gorilla? I got the impression that the G-legs are overkill for a table of this size.

Anyone ever sell a gorilla pub table, or have these always remained with the original owner?

I just did a quick search in the PCF marketplace and it doesn’t look like one has ever sold here. That doesn’t mean it’s never sold elsewhere but that is interesting. I think it is both a pricey item and rather niche.

In the debate between Gorilla gaming felt and the standard speed cloth, which turned out to be the better option?

My only reference is a PCF table topper on my dining room table. It seems good quality and the cards slide nicely. Is either Gorilla option similar to this experience?

Just curious, was it worth upgrading to the gorilla legs?
In my opinion, yes. The table is quite heavy and gets bumped around when there are 8 players; yet, it remains rock solid. I like the convenience of fold up legs for storage. In use, however, the wide legs do break up the leg space of the corner seats. I notice it at first, but get used to it after a few minutes.

After using the table for a few months, there is constant debate as to whether to sit with the cup holder directly in front, or off to the side of each player. Both options seem prone to near miss drink spillage. Fortunately, the cup holders have prevented full spills (just a drop or two) from an errant elbow. The premium gaming surface and rail makes for easy clean up.

To be fair, the cheaper and smaller standard folding legs get it the way too - I think it’s just what happens with shorter tables. But anyway those are what I got, and I don’t regret it for a second - the table is solid and stable.
For what it’s worth, when I was ordering the table, I spoke with somebody at gorilla on the phone. I said I can’t imagine the heavy duty kegs are necessary for a short table like this, and the gorilla person I was speaking with agreed with me.

Honestly I’m not sure if I’d want the bigger, heavier legs on this table anyway, but for a $200 price difference? No thanks.
