TLDR: I've been here a year, and I'm giving away some free stuff. You want a chance: reply "In"
Tournament registration is now CLOSED.

Hello PCF community,

Yesterday marked one year as part of this community! Years ago in college, I owned a set of suited 13.5g "real casino" chips. They were so much heavier and better than the other 11.5g dice chip my friends all had. They were awesome. It was awesome. I was awesome.

Fast forward to last year and I no longer had those chips. I wanted to find those same amazing chips, to you know....elevate the poker game I hosted. I found a youtube channel about poker chips (thanks @Hobbyphilic ) and found out there are a variety of chip materials and you need to buy samples. I bought every sample I could, and had decided to buy a set of Nevada Jack's (I still love that ceramic feel). On a whim, I bought a sample set of ACTUAL CASINO!!! chips from the Horseshoe Cleveland.....if only I had not bought that sample set - my paypal would be much happier today...

To me, there was no contest, game over.
I then bought a rack of HS Cleveland $5s on fleaBay (still a soft spot in my heart for this chip). I started searching around for the other denominations, and found this community. I created an account so I could buy another rack of HS Cleveland $5s.
Since then, I've bought and sold 1000s of chips, as I defined and refined my taste in chips.

Almost every day I go through this internal philosophical debate about how many sets does one actually need? :confused But then I look at my chips and those thoughts go away. :wow:

Anyway, to celebrate my 1 year as part of this insane community, I have one last set of a CELEBRATION DB and 2 bridge cut cards to give away for free. Free shipping worldwide.

You can read more about this set here: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/celebration-heads-up-set.46021/
This was my first ambitious chipping project, and this dealer button and cut cards are the culmination of a lot of hard work/deals/PMs/persistence. This is my first "completed" set with accessories.

Thank you @T_Chan for doing the Celebration artwork.
Thank you @ABC Gifts and Awards for making the 60 mm buttons.
Thank you @MatB for running the cut card group buy.

I've met mostly fantastic (and some just okay) people in this community. I have made some great friendships and found some regular games here in Colorado. I think a lot of people find PCF first for the market place, but get drawn in to the community itself - I find myself spending more and more time in the other areas of the site now. And the vendors can make pretty much anything you can dream, how cool is that! Thank you PCF members and staff. Thank you @Tommy .

I'm going to do a 7 8 table - 7 max SOHE all in. I'll re-seat after every round, since there will probably be two winners at each table.
This is for 1 Celebration DB and 2 bridge cut cards.
I'm going to leave this open for about a week or cap it at the first 49 56 and then start the "tournament."
Reply "In" if you'd like to participate.

Thanks,
Mark

So this is what I think happened:
Main pot: 175
Side Pot #1: 140 (only @Boother36 and @SurfCity USA and @bsdunbar1 and @JRReynolds6181 qualify)
Side Pot #2: 70 (only @SurfCity USA and @bsdunbar1 and @JRReynolds6181 qualify)
Side Pot #3: 70 (only @JRReynolds6181 qualify)

@JRReynolds6181 wins the entire #3, and 1/2 of each other pot with the best Omaha hand (flush) = 70+35+70+85 =260
@SurfCity USA splits #2 hold em with QQ = 15
@JRReynolds6181 splits #2 hold em with QQ = 15
@Boother36 wins main and #1 hold em with a flush= 85 + 70
@JRReynolds6181 is closest to the dealer, without being the dealer, so gets the split 5 from the main hold em, and split 5 from #2 holdem.

:eek: :eek: :eek:

R3Table2 Results:
@JRReynolds6181 285
@SurfCity USA 15
@Boother36 155
You are a brave man @markleteenie

Side Pot #2: 105 (only @SurfCity USA and @bsdunbar1 and @JRReynolds6181 qualify)
Side Pot #3: 70 (only @JRReynolds6181 qualify)

@JRReynolds6181 wins the entire #3, and 1/2 of each other pot with the best Omaha hand (flush) = 70+50+70+85 =275
@SurfCity USA splits #2 hold em with QQ = 25
@JRReynolds6181 splits #2 hold em with QQ = 25
@Boother36 wins main and #1 hold em with a flush= 85 + 70

I can't believe no one bothered to check my math!

TABLE 1 RIVER
IMG_3145.JPG

R3Table 1:
1. @Jeff = 210
2. @Ghoti = 35
3. @Jeevansluck 70
4. @AwesomeAustin = 105
5. @nitzilla = 210

Main Pot: 175
Side Pot #1: 140 (only @Jeevansluck @AwesomeAustin @Jeff and @nitzilla qualify)
Side Pot #2: 105 (only @AwesomeAustin @Jeff and @nitzilla qualify)
Side Pot #3: 210 (only @Jeff and @nitzilla qualify)

So this is what I think happened:
@nitzilla scoops #3 = 210
@nitzilla wins Omaha on #2 = 50
@AwesomeAustin wins Hold em on #2 = 50 +5 (left of the button)
@Jeevansluck wins Omaha on #1 = 70
@AwesomeAustin wins Hold em on #1 = 70
@Jeevansluck wins Omaha on main = 85 + 5 (left of the button)
@AwesomeAustin wins Hold em on #1 = 85

Results
@nitzilla = 260
@AwesomeAustin = 210
@Jeevansluck = 160

@Ghoti had a boat in Omaha eighths full of nines i believe.
Good catch. Let me look at it again. Thanks!

Attempt 2 to get the results correct:

@nitzilla scoops #3 (trip 9s in Omaha and 22 in holdem)= 210
@nitzilla wins Omaha (trip 9s) on #2 = 50
@AwesomeAustin wins Hold em (trip 9s) on #2 = 50 +5 (left of the button)
@Jeevansluck wins Omaha (flush) on #1 = 70
@AwesomeAustin wins Hold em (trip 9s) on #1 = 70
@Ghoti wins Omaha (boat 88899) on main = 85 + 5 (left of the button)
@AwesomeAustin wins Hold em (trip 9s) on #1 = 85

Table 1 Results
@nitzilla = 260
@AwesomeAustin = 210
@Ghoti = 90
@Jeevansluck = 70

If this update is correct, then final 7 would be:
@JRReynolds6181 = 310
@nitzilla = 260
@AwesomeAustin = 210
@Boother36 = 155
@Ghoti = 90
@Jeevansluck = 70
@SurfCity USA = 25

Round 4 Final Table Random Draw:
1. @Jeevansluck = 70
2. @Boother36 = 155
3. @JRReynolds6181 = 310
4. @Ghoti = 90
5. @AwesomeAustin = 210
6. @SurfCity USA = 25
7. @nitzilla = 260

Hole cards incoming.

Round 4:
1. @Jeevansluck = 70 (caps #1)
2. @Boother36 = 155 (caps #3)
3. @JRReynolds6181 = 310 (isn't all in)
4. @Ghoti = 90 (caps #2)
5. @AwesomeAustin = 210 (caps #4)
6. @SurfCity USA = 25 (caps main)
7. @nitzilla = 260 (caps #5)

Main Pot: 175
Side Pot #1: 270 (@SurfCity USA doesn't qualify)
Side Pot #2: 100 (@SurfCity USA and @Jeevansluck do not qualify)
Side Pot #3: 260 (@Ghoti @SurfCity USA and @Jeevansluck do not qualify)
Side Pot #4: 165 (ONLY @AwesomeAustin @nitzilla and @JRReynolds6181 qualify
Side Pot #5: 100 (ONLY @nitzilla and @JRReynolds6181 qualify)
@JRReynolds6181 isn't all in, has 50 left.

That's what I call an action TURN!

Round 4 River:
IMG_3154.JPG

Round 4:
1. @Jeevansluck = 70 (caps #1)
2. @Boother36 = 155 (caps #3)
3. @JRReynolds6181 = 310 (isn't all in)
4. @Ghoti = 90 (caps #2)
5. @AwesomeAustin = 210 (caps #4)
6. @SurfCity USA = 25 (caps main)
7. @nitzilla = 260 (caps #5)

Main Pot: 175
Side Pot #1: 270 (@SurfCity USA doesn't qualify)
Side Pot #2: 100 (@SurfCity USA and @Jeevansluck do not qualify)
Side Pot #3: 260 (@Ghoti @SurfCity USA and @Jeevansluck do not qualify)
Side Pot #4: 165 (ONLY @AwesomeAustin @nitzilla and @JRReynolds6181 qualify
Side Pot #5: 100 (ONLY @nitzilla and @JRReynolds6181 qualify)
@JRReynolds6181 isn't all in, has 50 left.

So this is what I think happened:
@JRReynolds6181 still has 50 behind.
#5: @nitzilla scoops (Omaha pair of Aces, Hold em: trip Kings) = 100
#4: @nitzilla scoops (Omaha pair of Aces, Hold em: trip Kings) = 165
#3: @Boother36 wins Omaha (trip 2s), @nitzilla wins Hold em (trip Kings) = 130/each
#2: @Boother36 wins Omaha (trip 2s), @nitzilla wins Hold em (trip Kings) = 50/each
#1: @Jeevansluck wins Omaha (straight to the 6), @nitzilla wins Hold em (trip Kings) = 135/each
main: @Jeevansluck and @SurfCity USA split Omaha (straight to the 6) = 45/each
main: @nitzilla wins Hold em (trip Kings) = 85

Round 4 results (tentative):
@nitzilla = 665
@Boother36 = 180
@Jeevansluck = 180
@JRReynolds6181 = 50
@SurfCity USA = 45

Round 5 Results:
Main pot: 225
Side Pot #1: 20 (@JRReynolds6181 @nitzilla @Jeevansluck @Boother36 qualify)
Side Pot #2: 390 (@nitzilla @Jeevansluck @Boother36 qualify)
@nitzilla has 485 behind. He is not all in.

@nitzilla still has 485 behind.
@nitzilla wins all hold em with a pair of Kings = 315
@Jeevansluck wins #2 omaha with two pair TT44 = 195
@JRReynolds6181 wins #1 and main omaha with two pair TT77 = 120 + 5 (left of the dealer)

Round 6:
@nitzilla = 800
@Jeevansluck = 195
@JRReynolds6181 = 125

Does this math look right?

@nitzilla has 485 behind. He is not all in.
