Glwsearch! Sounds fun - great use for a premium plastic set. I don’t have any 1ks but I imagine if you’re unable to spring enough loose you may find some to borrow or rent.

Borrowing was my backup plan, but I would like to avoid that if at all possible as iI would be extremely nervous that someone might decide to try to walk away with a chip or two, and that would cause me extreme anxiety. Im ok to lose something that belongs to me, but never something that has been entrusted in me.
