As a college student, I prop played pai gow poker and tiles at the Garden City Casino. After my shifts, I would often play Limit Holdem. The Garden City will always have a special place in my heart.
Now, 20 years later, I am new(ish) to the chip collecting world. I found/joined the forum mid-2020 after picking up a rack of garden city $2s and $3s on eBay — my first real chip purchase. My goal is to put a two-table home game set together. With the help of @Hammer2171 @heisman @ekricket and a few other members, I’ve collected more racks and am getting close to my grail set ($3 limit set and mixed denoms for nolimit).
