I wouldn't pay no more than 70 bucks on amazon for a set of 300 chips like that, even the inlay is ugly and have none identity, casinos lack of shelf respect and dignity about their own poker chips nowadays. GPI should massively reopen their clay chips to passionate peoples, who trully love chips.

Have seen about 200 reels of Justin Timberlake, but no chips

Someone needs to go in person I think

That pictures makes the chips looks significantly worse than the promo photos above. Not as bad as the layout of the ChipBoard website, but up there...

Bad background color/texture (is that a wrinkle or a shadow or both?), poor chip positioning, bad crop. Seems right. :wtf:

Sad day for the chipping community, but it makes complete sense.

The value of the data that they get from these chips is insanely valuable to the casinos.

Hopefully Paulson, BJ and others get their acts together ASAP to figure out how tech like this can be put into clay chips.

Or maybe we don't want that and they'll go back to selling chips privately. hmmmmmmm, one can dream

Fontainebleau more like FontaineBLOW. ugly chips. At least not icon. The promo let me down because the high denoms have a semblance of character in the spots/colors.

how do they handle tho, has anyone handled them in person?

Resort World has paulsons that have rfid in all denominations. The tables track your bet and they cash you out with a ticket rather than color up. They already have the same tech, just not as plastic.

A post on reddit's craps subreddit has some of their chips. these look like abbiati or matsui.

Whoever that is has posted some nice pics of high denoms and max bets at the other resorts

And the threads are somewhat interesting…do the casinos sweat the action, do they have a stop loss, do they back you off

Good find

The poster usually shows stacks in the millions of dollars. No casino is sweating that much unless there is no cash coming in. And they would definitely account for high rollers on the opening day.
