Wanted First Tournament + Cash 1300pcs Set Total (1 Viewer)

Hey PCF, Looking for the following breakdown of 1300 Chips:

175x - T25
175x - T100
150x - T500
200x - T1000
100x - T5000
(Total 800pcs)

Also looking for a cash set:

200x - .25
200x - 1
100x - 5
(Total 500pcs)

Together 1300pcs. I am taking my advice from Chris Manzoni (Don't know how to tag him yet) for my first tournament set. I think it looks great and have heard a lot of great reviews!

So, I am very new here and looking for my first decent set of chips. I'm looking at starting a monthly game with my guys. I am currently looking at this set as it: https://www.straightpokersupplies.com/cash-club-1000-poker-chips-w-acrylic-carrier-and-racks.html

Not sure if I am completely wasting my money with that set, but seems like a great deal and solid chips for a starting set. I figured I would post up a wanted ad to see what comes up.

I am only looking for 13g-14g chips as thats what the boys like. Shipping will be to Alberta Canada so keep that in mind. I do also prefer the chips with the tri-stripe paint on them as they're my style, sorry I dont know the term for that haha!

Hmmm I may be wrong then. I’ve used their chips before and thought they were 43mm.

I will clarify with them before I buy, but if anyone knows if they are 39mm then I would be open to 39 then as that’s what we are used to.

If you want 43 mm and don't want to spend literally thousands of dollars, your absolute best bet is Royal Card Room chips.

The chips you linked aren't awful, but IMO you can do better for the same $ amount. You just have to be a bit patient e.g. cards-mold group buys, Royal Card Rooms in the classifieds, etc.

The ones you linked are definitely not 43 mm. They are 39 mm (as are most chips -- it's probably what you and your players are indeed used to.)

The chips in that link are called Claysmith 12 stripes. These can be bought from other vendors for FAR less than that price. I've send them as low as 14 cents each, as I was once considering these chips as well. Here in the US they typically come with labels identified as Bluff Canyon, Desert Heat, or Gold Rush. Although your vendor does have free shipping to Canada, which might make enough difference to be worthwhile.
