Well, I finally broke my cherry. If you don’t count a few china clay samples a member sent me, then these are my first real clay casino chips acquired due to my joining the PCF community.

Although I can only dream of having these in a set one day, I snagged a barrel of a chip that caught my eye and reached out to me ever since I saw it here. It’s also the reason I got into the NCC group by for the ceramic tribute set.

I liked the first pic better.
Oops...did I type that out loud?
Pretend I didn’t say that!
No really...expensive chips for all!!!

I want a barrel of these one day for sure! I love the history and look of these chips so much!

That is a major step in a bad direction buddy!! Leaded TRKs are like getting a hall pass with hookers and endless cocaine for a single weekend!

Doesn't mean you can't enjoy a nice good game of chess the next weekend at the local retirement center... it's just not quite the same thing!! Lol

Congratulations on an awesome score!!

That analogy may seem a bit extreme... but the most accurate that came to mind! So they are already in your possession... what do you think. Not the colors of how they speak to you... but the buttery feel of the chips them selves?

Have you played Paulsons? RHC/THC? How do these compare in your opinion?

They do feel incredible. Right now I can just compare them to ceramics and a few china clays. Once I get some a paulson shuffle stack I will compare carefully. I do like the crowns a lot. A bit more than the top hat to be honest.
I've played with paulsons at various casinos but never thinking about the chips/feel at the time.

I got this little stack with a bulk lot of chips because they looked cool.

IDK how Ive never come across these chips before
or Id have started up the project years ago.
That turned into 8+ racks THIS MONTH and looking to fill the missing links of the set now.

And the $1s are leaded brick glorious along with the 10c chips even though they are beat down and I got the cherry picked rack.

For the record Tuna is lit up tonight... I think he is too bottles of wine in... so pay no attention to the really little guy behind the curtain!! Lmao
If @Lil Tuna likes some really good wine, you are more than welcome to stop by the house anytime in Bakersfield and I would love to open up some bottles or take you to some wineries in Paso Robles. The wife and I are members at 2 wineries and almost joined a 3rd one, but ended up having the baby instead.

I will happily take you up on that offer next time I make it out that way. It’s been awhile since I traveled through Bakersfield and now I have an excellent excuse to do so again.
Thanks for the invite @Hammer2171. This is now another addition to my PCF bucket list.

That yellow $5 isn’t quite worth it’s weight in gold, but it is worth twice it’s weight in silver. amazing.
