I have never tried the Greek nor the webmold chips. I just received some Sun Mold chips and fount that they are very slippery. Is it the same case with this other hybrid molds?

I love this mold so much. I just can't decide if the inlay has to have a theme that goes with the cap. Or if, like hat and cane, you can put anything on it.

Web mold stacks great so do the no mold hybrid in my experience

There is no wobble, no spinners on a 800 Sun Mold chip set, but I'm truly disappointed on how they slide all over the place. I used them in 3 cash games already and my players do not like them at all.
That was my feeling with the sample set I have. Because of their price, I may still pick up some for handouts, but I am not convinced that they are good enough to upgrade any existing set.

What's interesting is the data would say that Sun should be more slippery (grip generally correlated to surface area), but not majorly so vs a web or greek (10-20% maybe in a ideal vs worst-case rotation in the stack):

Example: Ideal-case contacts (top/bottom chip in stack)

But testing fresh "non-hooker juiced" chips... Sun samples are definitely the slipperiest, then greek/web, but tangiers are oddly the best performing of my samples* - clear in testing and counter to the data forecast. Not sure if there's something more at play here.

*I did not physically test no molds, blanks, or jesters (do not have)

Weird because my players anf I don't have those issues with the Web mold, hat&cane hybrid, or plain mold hybrids

I have ordered close to 3k chips in hat and Cane mold but from Tina (Not hybrids and are none textured) very little spinners and those perform great. However I have notice that textured chips are way more slippery.

I may be more used to clay. I rarely use ceramics because they are also slippery.

I terms of chip cohesion (as I remember),
Paulson > CPC > China Clay > Ceramic > Dice chip > Tina > Nexgen

However, I may need to run a new scientific study as Tina were not around at the time of my previous experiment.

I haven't had a chance to shuffle the sun mold. Of the three types I’ve had, web mold is by far the best, especially in the 43mm, for gripping to each other and not being slick. Greek mold is second, and cap dash is the slickest of the three.
