They opened a new place in NH called The Nash, and I've read that they have a side bet with a progressive jackpot at their holdem tables. I've read very few details, so I'm not even sure how it works - I assume it's based on either the flop or on the whole board. I assume you plunk $5 down on a little circle in front of you before the hand. It's not a bet I'd ever play, and I've never heard of it before. Anybody ever see this?
The only positive I can think of is that if it makes poker more profitable for casinos, that's a good thing for us. On the other hand, if its taking money off the tables and if it takes any amount of time to manage, those are bad things.

I think the hustler has it too?

Nope. They’re popping up all over NH. They’ve got The Brook, The Nash, Chasers, Gate City, Lilac Club, and 5 different Revos, at least.
So stunned us massholes got a few casinos before NH, those local poker rooms up there must be greasing all the right pockets to keep casinos out ha ha
