After lurking this site for years without registering and searching a lot and on youtube , I've decided to buy my first set of cards:

Needs to be 100% plastic , Bridge size and jumbo index.

I've seen Fournier highly recommended here and https://www.naipeszaca.com/en/35-bridge-100-plastico has a few options.

Question: I have a few Fournier options in that link :

https://www.naipeszaca.com/en/inici...dge-fournier-2-x-55-cartas-8420707351922.html
https://www.naipeszaca.com/en/all-o...idge-fournier-2-x-55-cards-8420707351908.html

Question 1 : Mostly the recommended ones are the 2826 the classic colors, I'm wondering if these other options have the same feel and if the only difference is the outside design?
The Flor the Lis version looks great.

Question 2: I've only played with a poker size, standard index cards, am I gonna have trouble peeking over the cards with a jumbo index, bridge size(doing the typical poker peek)?

Thanks in advance.

Fourniers are a good starting point, not too flimsy and easy to handle. I believe you can just pick the design you like, the cards will feel the same. The 2826 is more of a casino style, and for that reason popular here.

You will have no problems playing with these cards, actually you may prefer bridge size after playing with them for a while. I certainly did, now that’s all I use.

Welcome to PCF! :)

Thank you so much for the feedback.

I guess the only "problem" now is choosing the prettiest :D

It will take some time to get used to the jumbo index style when peeking but I guess jumbo index accomodates folks that can't see too far away from their table position so all in all its a good choice I think.

Hello,

1/ Yeah for me, the classic color is a best, I don't like fancy cards
The 2826 Blue/Red are the best for me, price is very cheep, only 13,30€ for a double deck

2/ At the beginning yes, but it's a question of adaptation
I'm like u, I prefer poker size and regular index, but bridge and jumbo is very good

Ps : I order on this spanish website, u can buy eyed closed ! :)

Fournier cards are an excellent, dependable start for a European buyer looking for bridge jumbo decks. Naipeszaca is where I got mine, even, and I'm in the United States.

If you're interested in getting some cards from the US, Copag are solid and dependable and come in lots of designs. @desjgn is also a vendor here with excellent products.

Happy hunting!

Welcome Sir, good cards, serious seller and great poker player.
Congrats for your choice.

Thank you for all the help.
Ordered some Fournier 2826 on Naipeszaca.com

Will look for some inexpensive China Clays for a micro stakes cash games set later. Favoring the Majestics and Royals for now. Will probably search a bit more.

Thanks for the help guys. Appreciate it very much.
