Everybody loved it. While they laughed at me as I tried to explain the difference between THC and RHC and the making of the chips themselves, they did continue to talk about how “pretty” they looked.
It's awesome that your group has appreciation for the chips. Same with my group and my family. No one bothers to buy chips anymore because they say the ones I have are nicer anyway. They even noted that when they play with different groups the chips are never as nice so they have learned to appreciate them more. Plus.. I seem to have a rotation of a new chip set every few months.. Did you tell them how much the chips costs? I've only told a few people and they were shocked at first, but not super surprised once they looked at the chips more.Everybody loved it. Funny enough, they played more conservatively because they didn’t want to lose their bright yellow T5k!
They have an idea but it’s cooler to appreciate something for what it is without the influence that comes from understanding how much it cost.
Unfortunately they’re incredible murder candidates. Feel extremely fortunate to have 1 complete rack. Will keep bumping along until one comes up someday.
Yep, I wanted to build one of these about a year back. Was given ample opportunity to get in, around the $8-9 range. I'm an idiot for passing these up. I just didn't prioritize properly.
