Looking for several racks of the Empress Star primary tournament set. I don't mind if this takes a year or more to put together, but this is what I am looking for:
200 x T5s
200 x T25s
400 x T100s
100 x T500s
I am willing to pay $6/chip for mint/near-mint/unplayed chips for a large set. (I know some chips in that line-up sell for slightly more, and some sell for less).
Before you start posting your opinions on whether this is a hard search, or how rare these chips are, or they have been selling for higher prices, etc....well, please don't. Prices of ES secondary tourney chips have started to come down with super mint chips being offered at $6/chip privately (I bought a few racks recently), and three current live ads are offering them at $5-$5.55 (and no takers so far). Some say they are even better than the ESPT, and they were commanding $7-$10/chip recently, yet, for whatever reason, prices have begun to fall. And if I am not mistaken, about 30K of the primary chips were made vs. 27K for the secondary. But to each their own.
Given the current GBs that are going on, the onslaught of chips being discovered in hidden closets everywhere, numerous large casino offerings, I believe a fair price, again, in my opinion, for me to pay, is $6/chip.
