I'm not trying to avoid the question, but "mint" has different meanings to different people.
I try not to call any chips "mint" that have any appearance of use at all.

They appear to be like new, but are not chalky. I cannot appreciate any flea bites or nicks. I would think they have been used, or oiled, based on the lack of chalk...

There was no chalk on any the boat chips right from arrival from GPI. They never needed any oiling (imo) with the only exception being (maybe) the AS $2s. All the others were bright and shinny from the box.

edit: The other exception being some of the AS $100 racks. They did not have any chalk but seem to have a bit of some sort of grease on their edges, easily cleanable.
