One time last year at @Boother36 house he had $20 and $25 chips (AS) in play at the same time during a cash game. That night my vote would have been 3 $20’s and 1 $25!
We all talked about how Bill’s head would have exploded if he was there!I remember this! I was collecting 25s that night!
Either ^this^....17 x $5.
.... or ^this^.A single $100 chip with three fives coming back.
But both are 5 chips.Either ^this^....
.... or ^this^.
Strictly from an efficiency perspective, 4x20+1x5 loses out to 3x25+2x5, But in a cash game, I'm typically betting with lots of chips -- I'm chip-geeky that way.
Do any countries have a $25 bill? Or something equivalent. Or do they all keep it simple with denominations that end in 0?
Yup, that’s real. Withdrawn in 1937
And they are worth $1,000+ to collectorsYup, that’s real. Withdrawn in 1937
WOW - JUST WOWIf it is early in the night it will be all $5’s and if it is the Casino Cancun set it will be $5’s even later in the night!!!

But overall $85 is kind of an odd bet amount, most of the times it would be $75 or $80 or $100.
The obvious answer is in 85 singles or even better, 340 quarters.
It's not that odd of an amount. It could easily be a flop pot size bet in a 1-2-5 game. It could also be a rack of chips: four barrels of $1 and a barrel of 25c....But overall $85 is kind of an odd bet amount, most of the times it would be $75 or $80 or $100.
