So is the OP's question then really if we prefer China Clays or Japan Clays?Paulson are manufactured in Mexico and owned by a Japanese company. Hardly American
I can't really afford Japan Clays, but I'd definitely want to replace my CCs with JCs. JCs stack better, feel better, have more vibrant colors, don't smell, and keep their value better.
Perhaps I'll invest in JCs if/when I start hosting more often again. Due to small kids, I only host around 4 time/year, so JCs aren't justified yet.
