Design and production help wanted (3 Viewers)

I play a lot of "family" quarter half dollar poker. I am looking to get a set of custom chips made for my home. Looking for help to design a set of chips around this initial inlay and someone to make them. Looking for the most realistic casino type chip in weight and material. I am looking for four distinct chips and denominations.

.25 yellow base chip (matching the sun color) with edge makings that match some of the colors in the logo
.50 pink base chip (matching a hue of the sky) with edge markings that match some of the colors in the logo
$1 white base chip with edge markings matching some colors in the logo
$5 Black base chip ( like the one pictured) with edge makings matching some colors of the logo

On the edge face of the chip between the edge marks, maybe some skull and crossbones pirate style! Maybe some card suits images around the edges?

I am REALLY new here. Have been lurking for a bit. I know everyone is crazy busy. Willing to wait. Willing to take advice and willing to help anyway I can.

Interested in everyones thoughts

The attached logo is not perfect. I would love to push "The 10 Block" banner up to the top of the inlay arch.

My first bit of advice about the chips is to consider just doing .25 and $1 chips, no .50, because they are redundant with the smaller and larger chips. Better off going .25/$1/$5 or .10/.50/$1/$5 perhaps.

Thank you for the tip. Will do. We typically have 6 people playing dealer choice game. Not a huge hold'em crowd. Occasionally a hold'em game will be played. We have been playing for many years. We currently use a set of chips bought from amazon. Each player puts $20 in the pot and gets eighty .25 chips. Betting is usually .25, .50, $1 and up depending on raises. As you can imagine some pots get chip heavy with only .25 chips. I though the .50 would be a nice middle ground. What you say makes sense. There are times when folks raise to $5 or $6.

A ceramic style chip would let you take that design all the way to the edges of the chip face - max design space. BRPro does nice ceramics with terrific service. Tinas are cheaper - budget friendly option that allows for some customization. Real "clay" chip options are limited right now - maybe an option when Classic Poker Chips starts taking new orders again. GL with your design!

Agree with BKisback. I have a small stakes family game too. I totally understand your thought process though with more chips “more gooder”. Our game had .25/$1 chips. We never used $5’s didn’t have the need, but I added a $2.50 chip and it was a hit. Unnecessary, but ironically the average pot size increased just a bit too. When my college age children and their friends come over we use a .10/.50/$2/$10/$50 set similar to BKisback recommendations. The 10’s and 50’s never get used. Which brings me to my next point. When building your set go at least one denomination higher than you think you’ll need. You never know how your game may evolve, and secondly 15-20 years inflation. Trying to have matching add ons in the future may be challenging.
If I was going to only have one set made it would be .25/$1/$5/$25 and some $100 for who knows. As for design endless possibilities, have fun.
