13g sluggos if they're the same as my NexGan 8000s.

They are 12 grams. I think there is an insert but the material is somewhat softer than other plastics. They are pretty good plastic chips, not clays fancy but they were always well liked when I played them.

Definitely. If they're 12g, then they're lighter than the 8000 (?) series that I have. These are, IMO, the Cadillac of slugged chips. They're indestructible (like any sluggo), they have a recess for labelling, the spots look good, and they were designed to mimic the wear of casino used chips.

These were some of the first non-Dice slugged chips that I ever experienced. I searched online and learned techniques to sand them down so they'd feel better and I seem to remember something about research to determine "the best" amount of simulated wear, resulting in the manufacture of chips with rounded edges.

The white and red chips followed by the blue chips have seen the most play....they white and red feel the best and stack the best given the bit of handling. Though they all would be the same with more use. These chips are washable, tolerant to spills and chicken wings etc... Back when I was using these more often I had a set of Pharaoh's and these...The Pharaoh's came out when I could count on everyone behaving with the chips. Otherwise the luckybees would come out and dang the more I bump them up the more I consider keeping them lol.

Here is a description I stole off a random website

NEXGEN 8200 Series Lucky Bees The NEXGEN™ Series 8200 Poker Chips " The next generation of poker chip manufacturing technology." EDGE SPOT Lucky Bees These 12 gram Vegas Style Chips are 39 mm diameter casino sized chips and are designed with the authentic casino style, weight and unique edge spot design. These chips also feature a unique Asian Inspired design of 8 bees stamped into the outer edge of the chip, eight being a number of good luck and bees representing skillfulness. The Series 8200 Chips incorporates a unique patented process giving them the soft feel of a clay surface which makes them the most authentic poker chip available on the home gaming market. Additionally, this same process allows for multi-colored edgespots, resembling that of casino clay poker chips. With an inconspicuous metal insert, these exclusive new chips were created by the use of the latest technology to produce the real sound and coloration of an actual Casino chip. When our engineers produced these chips, we couldn't believe they had an insert - they sound that great! Additionally, its recessed center allows for the application of custom-designed 1" labels. With these tri-tone colors, this exclusive chip line is great for any casino or your home gaming table!© Copyright 2005 All Rights Reserved These poker chips are copyright protected and registered with the U.S. Copyright office and are only available through us the manufacturer or our authorized dealers.
