Custom poker table build recommendations (2 Viewers)

I want to build a poker because new ones are super expensive. Thinking of buying two pieces of plywood, then cutting them out to an oval shape with a padded arm rest. Then I will buy one of those felt pads to put on top.

Anyway, does anyone have any better ideas for how to make a custom poker table?

The hardest part is actually making the rail properly, from what I remember.

The rest is pretty simple if you have the right tools.

Also, don't buy cheap foam, which will quickly deform and never return to its original shape.
