I don’t know if anyone here is familiar with it, but there is a game called “The Gang”. It’s a co-operative game based on Texas Hold’em. My friends and I really enjoy it. The problem is that the components this game comes with are pretty bad. The deck of cards it comes with are awful, and the chips are plastic. Replacing the cards is easy, I just swapped in a nice deck of playing cards. Replacing the chips is a little more difficult.

This game requires exactly 24 chips.
There should be six each of four colors, white, yellow, orange, and red.
For each color, the chips need to be numbered 1–6.

Most people buying poker chips are getting a set for actual poker, which is hundreds of chips. And for normal poker, all chips of the same color have the same denomination.

If I wanted to get some high quality chips for this game to replace the plastic ones, what is the best option? I’m guessing maybe just get 24 high quality chips in 4 colors and then use stickers to mark them 1–6?

Sounds like a perfect job for BRPro Poker.
You could do the chips in 39mm, 43mm or even 47mm. You’ll need artwork, or you can have Kristil at BRPro come up with something for you, she is extremely helpful.
I designed a bounty/seating chip a while back that has numbers 1-10 on the back, and while the BRPro policy is a minimum of 25 chips, it wasn’t necessary to buy 25 of each number. They will also print samples of something you are considering before you have the group produced.
