I’ve been wanting one for a while and I’m just going to see what’s out there.

Looking for the following breakdown:
200 x $1
200 x $5
80 x $25 or Jack Sec $100
Any ammount up to a barrel of $100’s

My sources are sold out unless you want a $10 limit set but they were priced high.

That guy had the $100s included with BIN for a bit but no longer

Price for the $100 and up he has are insanity

Maybe someone can get the set with the $100s for like $1200 would be sane I think @JoeyMack

The eBay guy seems like a good deal due to the $25s. I thought about bidding but some of the things about the listing turned me off. “Give or take some chips”.

Yea doesn't feel great that he can't get an exact count and add some decent pictures for the listings.

Not to mention showing pictures of the high denom chips to get you excited only to find out later in the listing that they aren't included. Then you realize how high the price really is of that set...and it includes $10 chips which are tough to find a use for.

The full rack of 25s doesn't come up often. Other than the rack @Roll Tide Roll has to offer now, it took me about a year to slowly add enough for a full second rack. The 100s are pretty tough to find and pricey as well.

That's good to know since I have a full rack of them plus a barrel and change. I didn't think they were so rare, but I guess that's because I haven't been looking.

Yea and part of it is just timing too. I think I saw a rack of 25s for sale 3 times now in the past year, but most were part of a full set. That's how I got my second rack of 25s and some of the hundreds.

I split of a lot of my extras already to @Josh Kifer but if you guys get your starter sets later on and need some 5s I could probably spare a rack or so. Get your starter sets first as they might come with enough 5s and hit me up later on.

The thing that worries me the most about the eBay set is the color of the 25s. Looks like they were cleaned with some pretty harsh chemicals and are super dried out. I have some like that and after five oilings they still are far from their original color.

Was just sent this counter offer by that eBay seller. My offer was based on his “buy it now” price of $1475 for the set including the 50 X 100s:

1700-1800 would be a pretty decent deal I think even considering you have to pay tax and shipping.

The 25s I have are all over the place with base color depth. I think alot of the 25s had a rough time.

A few months ago I would have agreed with you, but besides outliers the chip market has stalled a bit. On eBay, the place where people go to overpay for chips, that set including the 50 x 100s didn’t sell for $1475.

The 25s I have are all over the place with base color depth. I think alot of the 25s had a rough time.

All my primaries are the same, which is a shame because they’re real beauties when they are oiled up and their colors are popping. Luckily I mostly have secondaries which didn’t see any casino playtime and not much if any home game time.

I will say, once I oiled the living bejesus out of them, they got that older broken in various shade thing going on that I enjoyed, like the Brass Elephant 50¢. I dig once hydrated how to shade sways.

The seller has relisted the set quite a few times. Initially he didn't have the 100s, 500s, and 1000s for sale separately and I believe the BIN price to include the 100s was over 2k. I don't recall the exact price but it was pretty high. If he had included the 50 100s at 1475 I would have bought it because at that price it would be close to the value of the 25s and 100s. 100s I paid between 15-20 per.
