Is one rack of the $5s sun bleached? They look lighter in color than the other rack.
Have you tried oiling any of the lighter ones to see if the color bounces back?

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I am in the middle of cleaning/oiling everything so I'll post new pics afterwards.
