Hi!, I decided to buy the Dunes from Apache Poker Chips https://www.apachepokerchips.com/product/dunes-clay-poker-chips/

I'm planning to buy 500 chips, mostly will be for playing tournaments. (6-10 people)

How many of each should i buy? I'm thinking this set:

25 $ - 125 chips
100 $ - 125 chips
500 $ - 75 chips
1000 $ - 125 Chips
5000 $ - 50 chips
25.000 $ - Should i buy any??

Thank you!!!

Welcome to the forum sir!

I've had a curiosity for the Dunes CC since becoming a member myself a few months back. I hope you will enjoy them!

Personally, I like your breakdown. For 6-10 people, you have got lots of bank there for rebuy and color ups.

Don't know if you really need the $25k chip. But since you are buying a new set, maybe a barrel can't hurt. Cool to have it.

Just my opinion here. Many more experienced people may chime in here

Have fun!

too much $500 and you do not need 25k

T2000 structure

Per player

$T25 x8
T100 x8
T500 x4
T1000 x7
T5000 x2

For 10 players with rebuy + chip up + spares to match 500 order
$T25 x100
T100 x150
T500 x50
T1000 x150
T5000 x50

Perfect breakdown for 500 chip single table tourney set. You won’t need 25k

Your breakdown is good, but I prefer full barrels:

T25 - 120
T100 - 120
T500 - 80
T1000 - 120
T5000 - 60

T25K starting stack for 10 players: 12/12/7/10/2

Plenty of T1000 and T5000 left over or color ups and rebuys.

I think Apache sells these in multiples of 25

The following I agree with:
too much $500

Since you have 125 each of T25 and T100 I take it your planning on 12 each per player. The "PCF standard" breakdowns of T25/T100/T500/T1000/5000 are either 12/12/5/6/X or 12/12/3/7/X. In either case you don't need more than a total of 50. Buy 25 more T5000 instead.

Then buy a birdcage for 600 chips. You now have 100 more chips to fill. Buy other denominations and relabel to 10 seating/bounty combo chips, more bounty chips in case of rebuys, show'em chips, rebuy chips, a heck might as well get those T25000 as well! Then buy a table from @T_Chan!

No harm in ordering a few extras, but storing them in barrels of 20.

For 10 players, you only need 400 chips for 12/12/5/6/x stacks:

120 x T25
120 x T100
50 x T500
75 x T1000 (includes 15x to color-up T25/T100 chips)
5 x T5000 (used for T500 color-up)

Adding 20 x T5000 (for re-buys or larger starting stacks up to 20K) and rounding up to meet 25-ct minimum purchase requirements puts you at 400 chips,:

125 x T25
125 x T100
50 x T500
75 x T1000
25 x T5000

Purchasing T25K chips would be a waste, and are not needed in a 10-player 20K stack tournament.
