I also have 38 CPC color samples. They are just color chips and aren’t labeled or hot stamped with the name. I’ll include both bundles for $100 shipped. Otherwise color sample only is 38 shipped. SOLD

I would happily take the scrown if it came to a split.

planing a CPC set on that mold and would be great to get a shuffle stack for reference.

Always curious, is there a difference with feel, weight, etc. between molds? Also planning on a CPC set.

Slight difference in sound and I've read from others that over time as they wear there's slight differences. I didn't notice any but I'm not sure keen to those feels/differences.

Sorry, not looking to split this set.

No worries, thought I’d ask in any case. GLWS

If someone wants to purchase these and then split them up I'd take the jockey molds. Always been curious about those.

Feel? Absolutely, huge difference. weight not so much

Care to elaborate? I've got a shuffle stack of Key Wests (h-mold) from dennis that I like but the sound can be pretty metallic due to the brass. I've also got a CPC color scrown sample set in the mail for color comparisons. Never would've thought molding would impact sound/feel so much since I thought chip composition were all the same.

Hard to explain but the clacking noise each mold makes has small differences. That's the reason I bought this set was to hear it myself. For the measly price of $70 you can know the difference as well  :ROFLMAO:

Molds have drastically different textures that affect how they shuffle/slide/slip, ie B mold has aggressive texture, harder to shuffle when mint, but stacks great vs a lower texture like SCrown. Some molds have small recesses (A, B, H, Jockey etc) some have larger recesses, (Fdl, hourglass) some have no recess (SCrown, plain). The recesses affect sound and feel, as do the size of inlays - larger inlays have a lower pitched “clack” sound vs a higher pitched “click” to my ears, think RHC vs THC.
I wouldn’t say the brass affects the sound at all, only the weight of around .5g/chip for weighted vs unweighted colors
