CPC is moving! (5 Viewers)

@CPC_Mike now after realizing he has to deal with the wrath of PCFers who need more chips.

-be CPC
-95%+ of your customers are terminally online PCF chip enthusiasts who love to talk about chips all day
-top feedback/complaint is great quality product but poor communication
-company sells
-chatter on PCF continues unabated. Top complaint is poor communication while everyone ogles beautiful custom sets in the annual best-custom-set awards
-customers are finally updated on order status. None cancel. They all crave the product despite the uncertainty

Same as it ever was

It’s not “ideal” having to wait. I’ve done my fair share of it and it can be a drag… but man there is absolutely nothing like designing and then owning your personal CPC set. Feel and sound great, look great, stay pretty sharp even with regular use, and each set is 1 of 1 for the most part. I cannot stress enough how much more rewarding it is once you finally have your creation in hand.

Unless you are a weight whore. That’s probably the only case where I don’t recommend CPC.

Even then, pick non dayglow colors and molds with little indentations in them like A mold, scroll, plain, and FDL. @72o 's Knollwoods felt really heavy and probably weigh 9 grams or so, more than most NAGB Paulson's and stack like fucking bricks.

B Diamond best mold
Love my B molds. They weigh only 8.5 g even with my weighed colors though. I'll see what my hotstamped $100's weigh later. All of my cash set chips except for the $100's are on nonweighed colors.

I’m tired to waiting and no receiving any response from @CPC_Mike
Maybe I’ll considering a reimbursement
I’m a little drop on his bucket and I don’t care
I don’t like this situation
Maybe nobody teach him how to keep customers
Communication it’s the base of everything
This miss communication it’s the part I don’t like
I can wait sure no problem
For how much longer?
If people can waiting 2 years for the chips I’m NOT that kind of guy
This thread is ridiculous! Especially this guy's posts. Good grief!

You have three choices.
  1. Wait for your chips
  2. Cancel your order
  3. Or clearly, your preferred option - continue to cry and whine like a big baby.
I don't understand why you expect constant updates when nothing has changed from the last update, of which there have been two (email and web page) since the first of the year. The last thing you should be wanting is for Mike to spend any of his precious time monitoring and responding to posts on PCF.

Leave the poor man alone and let him get his factory up and running so that he can start making chips again!!!

Moving heavy equipment across the county can’t be an easy task…… I can’t imagine he would spend money for the company, go through the hassle of moving that much equipment just to shut the doors months later. The wait is always tough, even when it was the “old” CPC. I had waits of almost 10 months for 2 of my sets.

But yes, they are with every penny and every day of the wait to have your 1 of 1 set.

Just because someone want an update after the order delay 3 months it’s not a crime or a baby crying

Even though I'm convinced complaining about the long wait solves nothing, I have to admit that the discussion started by pippa was somewhat entertaining and interesting to follow.

Helped make the wait feel less long, so.... Thanks, I guess

Has someone legitimately suggested that he might not reopen?

@CPC_Mike just replied me back after 2 months
He said few weeks before start to produce
In a mean time he offered me the refund if I’m not happy anymore
Give this man more time …………for now

My takeaway from this is that....

CPC is almost back, baby !!

Woo!

I’ll apologize if my comment look aggressive
But sorry guys
I have Italian blood 🇮🇹/ 🇨🇦
That’s got to fly in the face of your Canadian desire to apologize for everything 😉🤣🤣

One of my favorite regs (in spite of also being the most dangerous at my table) has dual citizenship with Canada and the US. We play a side game to see who can get the first apology out of him, just to hear that accent say “I’m sorry”. It might be the highlight of my weekend every single week. 😂
