Up for sale is most of my custom CPC B-Diamond Mold solids set. These chips were ordered from CPC in April of 2017 and were oiled when received, but 360 have not seen any play and have been kept in storage in the original CPC boxes since then. The other 100 were used sparingly for board games with family. Breakdown of new/used is below with the colors, edge photos show condition of all chips.
I am asking $390 + actual shipping costs for a total of 460 chips (just under $0.85 per chip). I am only shipping to US or Canada due to past complications with shipping overseas. Current price for inlaid B-Diamond solids is $1.93 per chip. The sale price is designed to give you some wiggle room to remove inlays yourself, buy labels, and still come in at under what you’d pay for a comparable new set.
Colors/quantities:
1 - Imperial Blue x 80 (60 new, 20 used)
5 - Butterscotch x 100 (80 new, 20 used)
25 - Green x 100 (80 new, 20 used)
100 - Charcoal x 100 (80 new, 20 used)
500 - Retro Lavender x 20 (20 new)
1000 - Canary x 60 (40 new, 20 used)
I prefer not to split this, but will split if all chips are spoken for. Priority goes to whoever is buying the most chips. @kmccormick100 has FROR if split. You also get a better price on the full lot, if it is split the price is $20 per barrel + shipping. I’d recommend just buying it all and selling off what you don’t need. Good for people with CPC/ASM sets to use as Bounty, Bomb, Buy-In, uhhh… other things that start with the letter B because of the mold.
This is a prime candidate for a semi-custom set, as obviously the inlay (and current breakdown) is not desirable for most people that aren’t me. Inlay removal is pretty simple with CPC chips, and there are a few options for custom labels to replace the inlay. I have 3 chips with the inlay removed that I will toss in as well.
I had a good experience with CPC when ordering these chips and encourage you to support them once they are back up and running under new ownership in the new location. If you’re looking for something in the interim, these chips were manufactured in their previous facility, and are available now with no wait, at a price below what I paid back then, and below what you’d pay right now.
This could be a turnkey set for a single table T1, T5, or even T25 tournament (though it’s stretched pretty thin at T25 with limited larger values).
After inlay removal you could do something like this for T25, which was my original plan before deciding to part with the chips.
